“It's a very salutary thing to realize that the rather dull universe in which most of us spend most of our time
is not the only universe there is.

I think it's healthy that people should have this experience.”

— Aldous Huxley

Eleanor Roosevelt said "Courage is more exhilarating then fear, and in the long run, it's easier."

This retreat offers a safe, profoundly beautiful and nurturing space to dive really deep into the Voice of the Planet, "Pachamama", the benevolent, giving goddess of the indigenous people of the Andes. It also offers a time to give back to the Earth in prayer and ceremony and to receive Nature's direct guidance from the sentient forest. By opening gateways into profound meditative states, together we will create opportunities for healing of body and soul, through extraordinary feelings of wonder and connectivity. It is time to awaken our innate potential to come into Unity by opening to love, emotional innovation and real wisdom.

The retreat will be limited to those who have previously worked with me or Tara.

For anyone who wants to understand the work more deeply, this retreat offers an opportunity to be mentored by Namae and Tara. The 2 two hours sessions are optional and you may come to one or both. Read more about the mentoring process here.

Karma Yoga is the practice of Selfless service, in this case the devotion of service to the care of the Home whilst becoming devoted to the Beloved Self within. It is a waking meditation. For those people who wish to nurture themselves and the property in this way, you can arrive early either Sunday afternoon 2/11 or Monday morning and/or stay afterwards - Saturday 2/17 from 11am - 4pm.

The retreat will be held in our private Home in Portland OR, where the feeling of wilderness is enhanced by the sentience of the forest. There is a sense of magical Elemental Beings who greet you upon arrival. Moss and lichens drip from the 200 feet high Douglas fir and cedar trees surrounding the house and hillsides, and the bubbling perennial creek is filled with ferns and cobblestones. It is just half an hour from the city center and has complete privacy. Full information will be provided upon booking.

The home is 40 minutes from PDX airport. It's all sealed roads. Let us know if you want to share rides or need transfers when you book. There is a long stretch of narrow road through the forest so best rent a 4WD if the weather turns icy or snowy. Roads are subject to closure during winter storms so if there is a severe storm we may need to cancel the event. If you get significantly delayed by weather after the retreat, we will help you find alternative accommodations.

Plan to arrival no later than 4pm on Monday, February 12 as the road in needs to be driven during daylight. We start at dusk on the 12th. Departures are Saturday morning, February 17, unless you are doing Karma Yoga. Extra accommodations are available for 2/11 for Karma Yoga.

The beautiful, large cedar home has 3 large guest bedrooms downstairs, with beds for up to 12 people - 2 queen beds in private rooms and a bedroom room with 2 queen bunk beds. You can also sleep in the temple space or on gush couches in the living or dining rooms. There are 3 full bathrooms. Sorry no hot tub ...yet! All accommodations are shared so bring your ear plugs! If necessary, there will also be a motor home available or if you really need privacy, then BYO camper van. Due to the schedule and nature of this work and possible weather constraints, it is recommended that everyone stay on the property.

The large ceremonial space opens on to the forest and you are welcome to wander outside. The open dining/living room and large outdoor deck overlook the trees to the Columbia River and the Cascade mountains. There is a wood stove in the living room and an outdoor fire pit.

All meals will be lovingly prepared using local seasonal organic produce. The menu is designed to supplement and compliment the work. Full breakfasts will be available, light snacks for lunches and hearty soups provided after ceremonies. If you have any allergies or special dietary needs, please advise upon booking.

The work is designed to awaken your senses and open your sensitivity to others and the environment. It is strongly suggested you refrain from smoking, drinking alcohol and taking any altering substances during the retreat.

Read the session care page again before you come. Pack light, include a warm wind/rain jacket as it can get cold in the mountains at night.  Bring light walking shoes, comfortable layered clothing, flashlight and your usual supplies for sessions, including a journal. Mats and blankets will be provided to make your nest. In consideration of other people, please use unscented toiletries, no scented fabric softeners and skip the garlic before you arrive.

Bring only the recommended sleep aides. Ear plugs are great if you are sharing a sleeping space. BYO supplements, especially magnesium and electrolyte replenisher. Cell reception is available but internet service is VERY slow and limited so please no downloading, streaming music or videos
.  The nearest store is 15 mins away. No burnable candles, there are plenty of LED lights available.

If you are on ANY medications or you're receiving treatment for ANY physical or emotional conditions, please let me know well before the retreat. Please also advise if you have been working with other practitioners recently.

* Price includes 5 nights accommodation, meals, ceremonies and integration; excludes transport and additional accommodations ~ $2,300. Attendance at individual sessions is available for $550/night, attendance at integration is required. Optional mentoring/training classes will be $100/hour.

$222 non-refundable reservation fee is due upon booking to confirm your space.

"Don’t be an interpreter of reality, be a visionary. Don’t think about it, see it!”

"Universal Mother"

"Universal Mother" ~ Mythos

"Imagine the changes that could happen if everyone suddenly stopped acting like someone else,
became true to themselves, and celebrated the beauty of their uniqueness.

Only after people have willingly begun to reveal their vulnerability, dreams and pains,
will we be able to see that beneath the surface we are all the same.

Imagine what that truth could do to neutralize the clutches of evil,
once this black and white world suddenly became embraced
by a strong rainbow of loud, powerful, loving voices.

We could put color back into every home, every school, every industry, every nation,
and every garden on earth, where ever flowers have been crushed by corruption.”
